REVIEW: Daniel for Lunch: The Tasty Tale of Daniel in the Lions’ Den

Daniel for Lunch: The Tasty Tale of Daniel in the Lions' DenDaniel for Lunch: The Tasty Tale of Daniel in the Lions’ Den by Kelly Pulley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The magnificent tales books by Kelly Pulley are excellent for anyone that actively involves God in your children’s reading.

Poor Daniel is thrown into the Lions den and all because of the wicked king’s helpers! As the law clearly states you must pray to the King and no one else. However, Daniel knows the true law and that is to pray to God, not the king. Unfortunately in Daniel’s time that means a quick trip to the lions’ pit. Find out what happens to the King’s evil helpers, and more importantly what happens to Daniel. Will he become a lion lunch kebab?

The old story is made fun again with with rhyming Bible verses and clever artwork that re-tells of Daniel’s dilemma. Mr. Pulley made the book fun and understandable with simpler terms for children to comprehend.

I received a copy of this ARC from Netgalley for my un-biased and honest review.
